I had a chance today to run the full route for the
Moonshine Rally with Jon Saylor, and without a doubt, this will be one of the
best ever. Classic North Carolina back roads, spectacular scenery, and a great
final destination. The date is Saturday, June 1. The email below from Jennifer

The weather forecast calls for sunshine and high in the

Please come and join us for a great day on
the road to benefit Lupus research at the 13th Annual Appalachian Moonshine
Rally, Saturday June 1, 2013. The city of Elkin, NC will close off a section on
East Main Street to allow over 100 cars to line up for a TSD rally course. Cars
will depart in 30 second intervals and meet again at an undisclosed vineyard.
Food will be available for purchase or bring a picnic, buy a bottle of wine and
enjoy the view.
Registration starts at 9:00am ($20.00 per
