Formula One LUNCH THIS Sunday: June 26th – European GP

Subject: Formula One LUNCH THIS Sunday: June 26th – European GP
F1 race fans: This Sunday’s European GP is being rebroadcast on FOX at 12:00 noon (as part of the four races that they do ever year instead of the Speed Channel). I will be at the Azalea Inn/Time Out Sports Bar at that time for an F1 Lunch. Judging by the previous breakfasts we’ve had there, we should still have the place practically to ourselves, but I will make sure we get our normal spot regardless! Since there is no pre-race on FOX, be there punctually at noon if you want to see the race start.

We, the Alfa faithful at June dinner meeing, voted to forgo July 18 meeting due to Alfas in the Blue Grass Convention week of July 1-17. Skip and I won't be back until 18th or later. We sure hope some more of you plan to attend convention.

Thursday June 9 Food/Wine Pairing at Bistro 324
The Cuces are back with their new Italian eatery Bistro 324 at Chambord Commons in Virginia Beach.
They have a food and wine pairing event with FIVE wines and FIVE tapas courses once a month on a Thursday. Mary Lee and I are signed up for June 9 event at 7 p.m.

Cost is $49 per person with 10% discount for groups of 6 or more.
Our group code word is ALFA for discount.
We will also have some "free" rooms available for overnight and long weekend guests at our beach house for anybody wanting to attend from out of town.
