F1 Slaps Renault's Hands, Hammers Flavio

The FIA has slapped Renault, hammered Flavio Briatore, gave Pat Symonds a stern talking to and kissed and made up with Nelson Piquet.

Renault has been given a two year suspended ban for its racing fixing scandal. Falvio Briatore has received an "indefinite ban" and Pat Symonds came away with a five year suspension. Nelson Piquet turned states evidence and thus will not receive any punishment for his role in the scandal. I would suspect his chances of ever getting another F1 ride are slim to none however.
