Last Minute Xmas Party Reminder!
If you haven't reserved your room at the Elizabethan Inn you can still do so by calling 1-252-473-2101. Tell them you are with the Alfa-Romeo car club. Also if you are coming and haven't registered yet please e-mail me so I can order the correct number of dinners. Speaking of dinner our menu is as follows:
Mixed Greens Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and roasted
seedless red grapes, garnished with smoked gouda cheese, toasted
cornmeal croutons and served with roasted grape wine vinaigrette.
Penne Pasta with Green Vegetables & Herbs - Penne with fresh green
beans, asparagus, peas & spinach tossed with mint & oregano infused
olive oil; garnished with feta cheese.
Tuscan Garlic & Rosemary Chicken - Whole chicken pieces, oven roasted
in a creamy roasted garlic & rosemary sauce.
Steak Pizziola - Steak slices rolled with spinach & garlic, in red wine sauce.
As usual we will ask anyone who can to bring a dessert.
Also don't forget about the Chinese Gift Exchange after dinner. Bring your gift worth ~$10, or better yet, 10 Euros, and prepare to have a good time.
For anyone who wants to join us for dinner on Friday, we will meet in the lobby at 7PM. We will go to the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant in Wanchese (10 minute drive). The restaurant isn't fancy but is supposed to be a favorite of locals. They are expecting us and say they will accommodate whatever size group we have. No alcohol is served. However after we return from dinner we will have the party room at the Elizabethan Inn to socialize in, so BYOB.
