Classics on the Green

The Central Virginia British Car Club presents its 26th annual European automobile festival, Classics on the Green - 10:00a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the New Kent Winery, 8400 Old Church Road, (off Exit211 on I-64 in New Kent, Virginia). The New Kent Winery, which offers a beautiful venue with an expanded show field and many other activities for the family's enjoyment, is also holding a Wine Festival and Tasting in conjunction with the show. The featured marque this year will be Porsche motor vehicles, along with a special display of Designs by Pininfarina. Joining the Porsches will be an exceptional collection of Ferrari automobiles, and other extraordinary nameplates including Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, AC Bristol, Nash Healy, Austin-Healey, MG, Mini, Morris, Triumph, Jaguar, BMW, DeLorean, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Saab, Volvo, Rover, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Pantera, TVR and many more. There will be music, food, wine, and a variety of specialty vendors. This is a rain or shine, pre-registration show only, and on-line or mail-in registration forms must be received by Wednesday, September 1st. Spectator admission for the Automobile Festival is $10.00 for adults (children under twelve are free). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity. We’d love to see the Alfa Romeo club members come out as spectators to this event. A large contingent of Alfa Romeo show cars would be wonderful for the show as well. Advance registration for show cars and advance ticket sales for spectators are available on the event website.
