Looks like change in plans no Cars and Coffee venue this month but this just in from my bud Larry another car guy:

Saturday Morning Drive on the OBX

For any interested Alfisti arriving in Manteo on Friday or early Saturday - I have put together an itinerary for a drive down the southern Outer Banks. Please be advised: the Outer Banks in December is like Italy in August (not much open). This should still be a fun event as we're not likely to hit any traffic tie-ups, and there's not much room to get lost for that matter!

Here we go:

• 9:30am - Depart Elizabethan Inn
• 11:00am - Arrive Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (sorry, can't climb it this time of year)
• 12:00pm - Lunch in Buxton, NC (Diamond Shoals Restaurant)
• 1:00pm - Depart for Rodanthe, NC
• 1:45pm - Arrive at "Nights in Rodanthe" house - (Holiday open house is $20 and all proceeds benefits the Cape Hatteras Cancer Foundation). Staying for the open house is optional and everyone can straggle back to Manteo at their leisure from here.
• 4:00pm - (No later than) Everyone arrives back at Elizabethan Inn in time for a pre-party nap! :~)
