1985 GTV-6 for Sale

Note from Robin Hefka:  I have a 1985 GTV6 for sale and I would like to post it on the club web site. The car is mechanically sound, and runs great. It is in need of body work and paint... I bought the car 2yr ago in Charlotte and have driven it and maintained it as necessary. I don't know the exact mileage but would guess around 100k. The motor runs smooth and doesn't use or leak oil. This car would be a nice project, or an outstanding parts car. I have several new and used pieces for the car including a new rear tail light panel, drive shaft boCots, an older set of Koni Red shocks, 2 radios (1 Alpine), all the lower body cladding which I removed looking for rust, and various other knick knacks. I am asking $3000 for it and would be happy to deliver it to the NC/VA area. Please feel free to contact me @ RBHefka@Bellsouth.net

FOR SALE: 1987 Milano Platinum

I purchased this 1987 Milano Platinum from the widow of an old friend, John Hertzman, last year. Many of you may have know him, as he was active in the Alfa community. Though the car only had 39,800 miles on it, I've spent over $5k sorting it out, as it had been sitting for several years and had only been driven about 2000 miles per year before that. Most aspects of the car are excellent, due to non-use. Also, due to non-use, the primary problem area was the fuel injection system. The car is now running great. I would prefer to keep it, but really want to put the money from this car into the restoration of my 73 GTV, which otherwise will have to wait. Following is the verbage from its recent listing on eBay. It didn't meet my reserve, but now I'm selling it straight out and would like to get $5500. I've driven the car daily without any problems and it now has 49,000 miles on it.

The eBay ad and attached pictures:

39,060 original miles, I am the second owner. The original owner was a friend of mine, so I know the entire history of the car. In fact, I drove him to Atlanta in 1987 to pick the car up when it was new. I have all receipts from the beginning, including original $19,480 sales receipt, no accidents, non-smoking owners, does not burn or leak oil, starts instantly. Located in central NC. Can be driven anywhere. It is my current daily driver.

Black exterior (excellent condition), gray suede interior (excellent condition), NEW: Pirelli P6s (now have 10k on them), clutch, rear motor mount, ball joints, fuel pump, ECT sensor, ignition wires, front brake pads and right front caliper, heater blower, timing belt.

Issues: Three, small rust spots: 1. Lower front of rt. rear wheel well (see photo…this is the worst spot), 2. Lower corner of left tail light, 3. Lower rear of left. rear wheel well; gas guage inaccurate; sun roof raises, but does not fully slide back; headliner is a little loose.

FOR SALE: 1994 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

Unfortunately the time has come to part with my Alfa (my daughter's college tuition looms on the horizon). I purchased the car locally (Raleigh NC) from Peter Krause at Krause and England in May 2005. At the time it had about 72k miles on it and now it has about 84K. A new top was put on when I bought it. The oil has been changed at 5000 mile intervals with synthetic. All belts and rear brake pads were replaced in June 06. The master brake cylinder was replaced in May 08 and the slave clutch cylinder was replaced in June 08. The most recent service on the vehicle was June 08 and included: oil change, transmission fluid and rear transaxle fluid change and replacement with synthetics. Additionally, I put a new battery in this September.

The car is garage kept and driven only in perfect weather.Since the car is a 1994 it is badged as a Commemorative Edition. it is #120 of the final 190 imported to the US. It has hood and glove box badges and a certificate of authenticity. The car was first purchased at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro. I am asking $13,500 which appears to be in line with other Alfa's for sale on Cars.com. However, I will consider serious offers.I've attached some pictures and can provide others.I'd be happy to bring the car to a local club event if you think that would help.

Best regards,
Steve Clark
